Job Description

The Inclusive Health and Wellness Hub (‘Hub’) is dedicated to accommodating diversity and ensuring people experiencing disadvantage in Brisbane have access to quality physical, dental, mental health and wellness and holistic healthcare services irrespective of their ability to pay. The Inclusive Health Clinic (IHC) refers to the general practice services of the ‘Hub’.

Delivering high quality health services that are integrated with other social services, allied health and alternative therapies is an important part of our Hub’s vision through a range of partnerships.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Inclusive Health and Wellness Hub Manager or Senior Admin to lead administrative responsibilities on our integrated primary healthcare team at the Inclusive Health and Wellness Hub, a partnership between Micah Projects and the Tzu Chi Foundation.

This role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, holistic healthcare services to people experiencing disadvantage in Brisbane. You will manage clinical and administrative teams, oversee daily operations, and contribute to strategic planning and service development.

This is a permanent full time employment opportunity with conditions and salary at Level 4-6 of the SCHADS Award. Senior Admin at levels 4-5 based on experience. Manager at level 6.

The capacity of the role (Manager or Senior Admin) will be decided upon review of qualifications/experience and aligned through screening calls/interviews.

Desired Skills and Experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day running of a busy primary health clinic, ensuring smooth administration, reception, billing, rostering, equipment and patient flow
  • Work closely with clinical leadership to maintain high standards of care, accreditation compliance, and effective risk and governance practices
  • Support financial and operational accountability, including Medicare billing, resource management, and coordination with finance and IT
  • Lead and support administrative and clinical staff through recruitment, induction, performance support and ongoing development
  • Build strong working relationships with internal teams and external partners to support coordinated service delivery
  • Drive continuous improvement in clinic systems, processes and service quality, including training and audit activities
  • Maintain accurate records and uphold privacy, safety and workplace health standards across the clinic

Essential Criteria:

  • Demonstrated experience in practice or clinic management (or high-level administration), including strong knowledge of Medicare billing and operational systems
  • Proven ability to lead and support teams in a multidisciplinary environment, contributing to strategic planning and continuous service improvement
  • Strong experience in clinical governance, incident management, risk frameworks, and accreditation processes
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate, consult and resolve issues effectively
  • High-level organisational and time management skills, with confidence using clinical IT systems and Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety, equity, cultural diversity, and safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults, aligned with organisational values

Desirable:

  • Project management experience
  • Qualifications in Practice Management
  • Experience in developing and delivering educational and/or treatment programs
