Job Description
The Inclusive Health and Wellness Hub (‘Hub’) is dedicated to accommodating diversity and ensuring people experiencing disadvantage in Brisbane have access to quality physical, dental, mental health and wellness and holistic healthcare services irrespective of their ability to pay. The Inclusive Health Clinic (IHC) refers to the general practice services of the ‘Hub’.
Delivering high quality health services that are integrated with other social services, allied health and alternative therapies is an important part of our Hub’s vision through a range of partnerships.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Inclusive Health and Wellness Hub Manager to lead our integrated primary healthcare team at the Inclusive Health and Wellness Hub—a partnership between Micah Projects and the Tzu Chi Foundation.
This role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, holistic healthcare services to people experiencing disadvantage in Brisbane. You will manage clinical and administrative teams, oversee daily operations, and contribute to strategic planning and service development.
This is a permanent full time employment opportunity with conditions and salary at Level 7 of the SCHADS Award.
Desired Skills and Experience
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team including GPs, nurses, and admin staff.
Ensure clinical excellence and compliance with RACGP accreditation standards.
Oversee practice management, including rostering, billing, and financial obligations.
Foster partnerships with external health and community organisations.
Provide clinical nursing care and support integrated service delivery.
Drive quality improvement initiatives and staff development.
Maintain data governance, IT systems, and workplace health and safety standards.
Essential Criteria:
Degree in Nursing, Social Work, or Psychology.
AHPRA registration and current medical indemnity.
Experience in general practice and managing multidisciplinary teams.
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Proficiency in clinical management systems (e.g., Best Practice).
Commitment to child and vulnerable adult safeguarding.
Desirable:
Project management experience.
Qualifications in Practice Management.
Experience in developing and delivering educational programs.
