Job Description
The purpose of Inclusive Health Cluster is to provide a responsive and integrated approach across Micah Projects, including the Inclusive Health and Wellness Hub. The Cluster’s approach is underpinned by the principles of recognising and addressing the social determinants of health, ensuring equitable access to health and social services.
As the Support and Advocacy Administration Worker, you will work closely with the Cluster Leads, providing administrative support to the Cluster. This role will be supporting the Hepatitis C project and will also work closely with Nursing staff.
This is a fixed term full time employment opportunity until June 2025 with conditions and salary at Level 3 of the SCHADS Award.
Desired Skills and Experience
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to Cluster Leads and Nursing staff.
Conduct active follow-up with participants to support Hepatitis C treatment.
Perform timely and accurate data entry and maintain participant records.
Assist in outreach activities to engage hard-to-reach participants.
Support participants with completing forms and accessing services.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure integrated care.
Maintain detailed case notes and support plans in the organisational database.
Contribute to the evaluation of program outcomes and data management.
Essential Criteria:
Qualification in Administration or Data Management, or relevant experience.
Demonstrated ability to advocate for participants.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in IT systems, including Microsoft Office.
Commitment to cultural diversity and understanding of equity and WHS principles.
Positive attitude and ability to work flexibly and proactively in a team environment.
First Aid certificate.
Valid Driver’s License.
