Job Description

The Early Years Program is a new initiative which is set to make a positive impact on children’s lives.

  • Permanent full time - Monday to Friday
  • Work within a team of 4, a Program Lead and 3 child and family practitioners (Educators) in operating our centre 3 days per week, alongside offering a supportive playgroup for families (1 day) and outreach support to families engaged with Micah Projects.

Help shape the future of children who are currently impacted by the adverse effects of homelessness and DFV

As one of our experienced Child & Family Practitioners (Educators), you'll play a key role in guiding and inspiring children's learning and development, helping them grow into curious, capable, and confident lifelong learners!

Bring your creativity, passion, and love for education to our team! Together, we’ll create a therapeutic, supportive, and engaging play-based learning environment that fosters a lifelong love of learning for children, supports families, and strengthens our community.

There are 3 x permanent full or part time employment opportunities with conditions and salary at Level 3 of the SCHADS Award.

What you’ll bring

Whether you’re an experienced early childhood professional, if you’re energetic, fun and committed to guiding children’s early learning and development, we are building a dynamic team.

To thrive and succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Have a Certificate III or Diploma in Children Early Education and Care as recognised by ACECQA with a minimum three years of experience
  • A strong understanding of the NQF, EYLF and QKLG
  • First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
  • Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card.
  • A Police Check current within three months (or willingness to obtain one).
  • The desire to work harmoniously as part of a collaborative team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
