Job Description

Home for Good is dedicated to finding sustainable solutions for people experiencing homelessness and those at risk, including individuals, families, and children. Based in inner-city Brisbane, we offer a range of services such as information, support, advocacy, health, recreational, and employment services.

As a Transport and Support Worker, you will play a key role in delivering centre-based services with outreach components. Through assessment, triage, and prioritisation, you will respond to the immediate needs of individuals and families facing homelessness or the risk of homelessness.

This is a fixed term part time (48hrs per fortnight) employment opportunity until June 30, 2025 with conditions and salary at Level 2 of the SCHADS Award.

Desired Skills and Experience

You should have a strong understanding of social justice, homelessness and domestic violence issue with a familiarity with community resources and systems.

You will also need excellent communication, problem solving and conflict resolution skills and an ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.
